
Dr. Shenna M. Woods now serves as Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Harris Stowe State University. Dr. Woods possesses expertise in building and managing teams, programmatic and institutional strategic planning, curriculum development, and classroom education. Dr. Woods also possesses over 10 years of event planning, software data, social media content creation, and collaborative team engagement curating innovative ideas and provoking consumer engagement. Dr. Woods academic background includes a Biology degree from Spelman College, a Master’s Degree from UMSL in Curriculum and Instruction, a Masters in Educational Administration and a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from Maryville University.
Dr. Woods research “The Effects of Post-Secondary Opportunities on Student Success,” focuses on how exposure to post-secondary options affect student career readiness despite socioeconomic differences. Dr. Woods is the proud founder of the Smith Scholarship Organization as well as Crownfident Image Consulting and has proudly served as a part of the Women in Leadership Program, The St. Louis Internship Program Alumni Network, and the Koran Bolden Mentorship Collaborative.
