LESLIE HOLLOWAY

Leslie Holloway is a successful fundraising specialist with more than 30 years of experience, including annual and capital campaigns, marketing initiatives, board engagement, and event planning/implementation. As a conscientious executive who aggressively advocates for innovative programs, constructively challenges the status quo, and assertively champions new initiatives, Leslie has served in leadership institutional development roles where she directed fundraising, campaign, marketing, and event strategies at YWCA Metro St. Louis; led comprehensive, cost-effective annual and capital fundraising campaigns in Missouri and Kansas to secure $1M annually at United Negro College Fund; and directed strategic planning, implementation and management of the enterprise-wide comprehensive alumni relations, fundraising and marketing/communications model at INROADS, Inc.

Leslie held leadership roles at colleges and universities where she was responsible for campaigns with fundraising goals of $22M annually. As Special Assistant to the President/Executive Director of Institutional Advancement at Harris-Stowe State University, she led all fundraising endeavors, defining and implementing an overarching advancement strategy while managing the university’s foundation. She served as Director of Alumni Affairs and Annual Giving at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where she had oversight of Wharton’s comprehensive Alumni Affairs and Annual Giving initiatives. She provided tools and services to a population of more than 80,000 Alumni, worldwide and was also responsible for raising more than $9M in cash and an additional $2M in pledges annually.

Prior to Wharton, Leslie was Director of Tulane University’s Annual Fund and the Director of Alumni Affairs in the Department of Institutional Advancement, where she directed strategic planning, implementation and management of Tulane’s Alumni and Annual Giving programs for its 11 schools and athletics. She also developed and directed Alumni Association volunteer efforts including the activities of chapters in 34 cities.

Leslie Holloway received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Management from Tulane University. She is a member of several professional associations including the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and National Black MBA Association, Inc.
